Inpatient Care

Should you require a hospital stay, our newly remodeled inpatient area includes semi-private rooms, two private rooms, plus isolation (for those with contagious diseases) and reverse isolation (for those with severely compromised immune systems).

Our competent and compassionate nursing staff is dedicated to quality care and patient comfort.  Working closely with your physician and other health care professionals, our nurses supervise your treatment and monitor your progress around the clock.

We also offer education and emotional support, provide instruction for self-care at home following discharge, and do everything possible to aid your recovery.  In addition, our Discharge Planner can answer your questions and assist you in obtaining needed services while hospitalized and after discharge.  These may include emotional support for you and your family, financial assistance, arrangements for Home Care or medical equipment,       
Pharmacy

Our in-house Pharmacy supplies medications for hospitalized, Home Care and Hospice patients, working in conjunction with your physician and nursing staff to provide the medications you need, when you need them.

Our computerized database contains exhaustive information concerning dosage, contraindications, potential side effects and drug interactions among various prescription and over-the counter medications, as well as vitamins, minerals, herbal supplements and other “nutraceuticals.”  Our experienced      
Dietary Services

In addition to menu planning and meal preparation for hospital inpatients, our Dietary Services department provides nutritional counseling and follow-up for patients leaving the hospital, plus assessments and consultations for outpatients.  Working in conjunction with your doctor and other members of your health care team, our Certified Dietary Manager can assess your nutritional needs in relation to specific health concerns.  A Registered Dietitian also is available on a consulting basis.

Special diets may be prescribed for cardiac rehab, diabetic and home care patients, among others.  Our staff will answer your questions and develop menus of foods you like that fit your individual dietary needs.  Our Dietary Services Department also sponsors a Diabetes Support Group which meets on the third or fourth Friday of each month.  The goal of
